THE CAPULET COSTUME BALL AT CHESAPEAKE SHAKESPEARE COMPANY
We can’t wait to see you on Saturday for Chesapeake Shakespeare Company’s Capulet Costume Ball Gala. We are beyond thrilled to be celebrating our 20th anniversary with you and we are so grateful for your presence and support.
Here is everything you need to know about our Capulet Costume Ball—please be sure to pass this information along to your guests:
ATTIRE
If you haven’t found a costume yet (we suggest period costumes, but Renaissance/Elizabethan is NOT necessary), Black Tie is also festive, and a number of guests are adding a dramatic mask for more fun.
Complimentary Coat Check is available.
WHEN AND WHERE
Saturday, November 5th
7:00pm - 10:00pm
The Chesapeake Shakespeare Company Downtown Theatre,
7 South Calvert Street at the corner of Redwood Street.
PARKING
There will be complimentary valet parking at 200 East Redwood Street for all of our guests.
If you prefer to self-park, Arrow Parking Garage, our partner garage, will be open at 204 E. Lombard Street. Garage entrances are on Lombard Street and Water Street between South Street and Calvert Street.
SCHEDULE
The official schedule for the evening:
7:00pm to 8:30pm – “Shakespeariences” and exhibits, standing dinner reception.
8:30pm to 9:00pm – CSC Past and Future: Live Appeal and costume contest.
9:00pm to 10:00pm – Dessert; Dancing on the stage.
Please note: There will be no seated dinner. Guests will be free to mingle and explore the theatre.
ADMISSION
We have your name included on a list at the door. No ticket is necessary.
